Understanding our Backyard (UoB) is a movement that helps urban residents reconnect with the nature around them. By slowing down and paying attention, we rediscover the joy of everyday nature and understand how our choices in our city ripple all the way to vital ecosystems like the Western Ghats. Through walks, talks, art, and community, UoB invites people to notice, care for, make conservation more accessible and ultimately protect the ecosystems that sustain us.
